Stellar Evolution & Pulsation Group

We focus on numerical modeling of the formation, evolution, and pulsations of low-mass stars that give rise to white dwarf and subdwarf stars. We study the physical processes responsible for the evolution of these stars, stellar nucleosynthesis, and the applications that these stars have in the field of white dwarf and sub-dwarf asteroseismology, the dating of stellar populations, planetesimal accretion, and the study of fundamental particles such as neutrinos and axions.
